1. When did you start painting?
30 years ago, when I was about 20 years old.
2. What made you want to paint, was it a childhood passion?
Yes, It was a childhood passion.
3. Did you attend art school?
I took Art Class and also Architecture when I was in College.
4. How long does it usually take you to complete a piece of art?
It depends upon the size and theme of the painting.
The shortest time I took was 30 minutes while the longest took about 1 week.
5. Do you paint certain hours each day or only when you are inspired?
I paint everyday.
6. What does painting mean to you?
Painting is my life. If I ever stop to paint, then it would feel like I'm dead. I consider painting as my hope and my dream.
7. Who/what inspires you to paint?
The earlier artists inspired me to start painting.
8. What's the best thing about painting?
If you can make a painting, then that’s the best thing.
9. What painting technique do you like the most? Why? **
Impressionism – He prefers paintings that are abstract, not too detailed. It is because it’s easier and it suites his style.
10. Which of your artwork pieces is your favorite? Why?
The portraits of stones, pebbles, and the portraits of the Benguet People. I consider this as my favorite because I am an Ibaloy.
Note: : An Ibaloy occupies the southeast of Benguet in the Philippines.

Just continue to paint. Don’t waste your time. You need to improvise your talent everyday.
