1. When did you start painting?
I started to paint when I was in High School.
2. What made you want to paint?
I chose to paint because it is the best gift that I want to learn and to improve.
3. Did you attend art school?
I was already painting and drawing before I tried to study Visual Arts in University of the Philippines Baguio but I stopped after a year. I continued to join art groups within Baguio City during art exhibits.
4. How long does it usually take you to complete a piece of art?
The shortest period is two hours and the longest took 16 days.
5. Do you paint certain hours each day or only when you are inspired?
When I was a beginner, I paint every 2 hours but as of today, I manage to paint from 9am to 10pm in a day.
6. What does painting mean to you?
It is a unique creation which is pleasing to the eye.
7. What's the best thing about painting?
The best thing about painting is you are enjoying what you are doing and loving it after it is done.
8. What painting technique do you like the most?
Technique and style for me usually ends up to realistic maybe because it is the output from my identity and character.
9. Which of your artwork pieces is your favorite? Why?
All of them are my favorite because the people also like it and appreciate it.
10. What message do you have for aspiring painters?
For the aspiring and young artists, never look for mistakes from what you are doing. Be positive and just feel free and enjoy painting. I am sure that your art piece will be a great work of art.
